H2OOP System

Today's society demands sustainable solutions that demonstrate the commitment of companies to the environment.

For this, Frost-trol is constantly looking for solutions with new refrigerants to comply with global regulations on issues as important as the emission of greenhouse gases or energy efficiency, the life cycle of systems and equipment.

For this reason, Frost-trol has worked closely with Carel to develop a flexible solution that combines the use of water condensing systems designed to operate with natural refrigerants such as propane.

The H2OOP system features an evaporator design evolved to the refrigerant charge requirements, as well as the implementation of BLDC compressors, electronic valves, and the electronic management of Carel's Heos platform.

A sustainable solution based on water condensation.
Strengths:
  • Increased commercial space thanks to the reduction of the machine room.
  • Agility for installation and commissioning.
  • Improved image of a sustainable and environmentally committed supermarket.
  • Reduced costs in terms of energy consumption as the compressor adapts to demand thanks to variable speed.
  • Increased stability of operating temperatures and product preservation.
  • Less refrigerant charge than in a conventional installation with a remote compressor.
  • Possibility of full recovery of condensed heat to produce hot water for heating or sanitary purposes, and avoid cold aisle effect.
  • Lower electricity consumption compared to traditional remote systems
  • Very low leakage rate both in the cabinets and in the chiller.
